Hero Client downloads are per Minecraft version. Installs, launcher builds, Java
requirements and every supported Minecraft version are listed below — one JAR per release.
Hero Client 2.2
Per-version builds ship as separate Fabric JARs — install the one matching your Minecraft version. Java 21 for 1.21.x. All 12 releases of 1.21 through 1.21.11 are published; 26.x builds are in progress.

Phase 1 — multi-version + full GUI
- Per-version builds published for Minecraft 1.21 through 1.21.11 (26.x builds in progress)
- Full GUI: mod menu, settings screen, HUD editor and keybind editor
- QoL pass: smooth zoom (2x/4x/8x scroll levels), animated freelook, fullbright modes, dynamic crosshair, waypoint colours

Stabilisation and launch fix
- Released for Minecraft 1.21.11
- Fixed launch crash: glGetString with no GL context crashed the client on every launch
- Fixed mixin crash: MouseClickMixin never applied — startUseItem returns void
- Wired module-ai into the Gradle reactor
- Fixed timing-dependent managerGetHealth test (0 ms is valid uptime)
Requires Java 21 — the mod's fabric.mod.json enforces it; older JREs fail silently
Fixed: client crashed on every launch before the OpenGL context existed
Milestone stream — M2/M5 and hero-client-web
- M2: PerformanceManager presets, FrameTimeMonitor (avg/min/max/1% low), PerformanceDiagnostics, AdaptiveQualityEngine, context overrides
